Tide
The periodic rise and fall of a large body of water, caused by the gravitational effects of the sun and moon on our planet.
Tidal current
Movement of water as a result of a rising or falling tide. A rising tide results in a flood tidal current, a falling tide causes an ebb tidal current flowing in the opposite direction.
Topography
Study of the physical surface features of a site.
