Oakfield

Mute Swan
The boss!

The pond and water near Oakfield/Broughton are along a short but pleasant footpath between the playing fields by Oakfield road to the broughton crossing road. There is almost always a resident pair of swans here as well as canada geese, mallard ducks, and black-headed gulls. Water mint blankets some corners of the pond. The footpath joins the Aylesbury Arm on the playing fields side.
