Hulcott

Hulcott is a small hamlet outside of Bierton on the outskirts of Aylesbury. Leaving my bike on the village green, I like to walk beside the church and on down the hill on the footpath to meet the river thame (not the main thames!).

Sitting around here painting, or just passing the time i've seen mink, canada geese, swans, mice, dragonflies, damselflies, butterflies, moths, red kites and much more. The fields before the Thame are SSSI's (Sites of Special Scientific Interest). If you continue on the footpath over the bridge you reach Rowsham.
